Mark Your Calendars for Upcoming 

Centennial Events

In 2008, we are celebrating our 100th anniversary. April 20 was our really big day, but we continue our celebration all year long to mark the event in a multitude of ways.  Here are the upcoming dates to remember.

August 3: Rev. Lisa Kenkeremath, a former APC pastoral intern returns to preach followed by a reception.

September 7: Rev. Michael Rucker, APC’s pastor from 1994-1997 returns to preach followed by a luncheon.

 September 14: Genesis Sunday celebrates 100 years of Christian Education at APC.

November 2: All Saints’ weekend wreath laying at the local gravesites of our founders.

We are also considering planning a game night featuring games our forebears probably played or wished they could have!

As the Arlington Presbyterian congregation continues to discern the ways God is calling us to be active in our community, we recognize the need for specific skills and gifts that will help support the ministry of the church. At this time, we are hoping to add to the staff of the church with a church educator.
